About Swargate
We build the ground floor of the digital world
Every model trained, every call connected, every vehicle that brakes in time — it all rests on a few square millimeters of silicon someone had to manufacture perfectly.
Mission
To make the world's most advanced logic manufacturing open to anyone with a great design — reliably, sustainably, and at planetary scale.
The story so far
Zero to leading edge in five years
Swargate was founded on a conviction: the next great foundry would be built where the next generation of engineers already lives.
2021
Swargate founded in Chicago with $2.8B Series A — the largest deep-tech raise in American history.
2022
GigaFab Chicago groundbreaking; SG7 process licensed, hardened, and taped out on schedule.
2023
Fab Dresden acquired and converted to automotive-grade SG7. First AEC-Q100 qualification.
2024
SG5 enters high-volume manufacturing. Chandler fab opens with 30K wafers/month.
2025
SG3 — our first gate-all-around node — reaches HVM with 40+ design wins. IPO on NASDAQ.
2026
SG2 risk production begins. High-NA EUV installed. 1.4M annual wafer starts across the network.
Values
What we hold ourselves to
Atoms are the product
We win by controlling matter at the scale of atoms, billions of times per second, without error. Everything else is in service of that.
Yield is truth
Opinions end where data begins. Every claim, from a press release to a process recipe, must survive contact with the wafer map.
The customer's die is sacred
Designs entrusted to us represent decades of our customers' work. We protect them with paranoid security and ship them with zero-defect discipline.
Build for the century
Fabs outlive the products they make. We site, build, and staff for decades — in the communities we join, not just next to them.
Leadership
Operators who have shipped nodes before
A leadership team drawn from the fabs, packaging lines, and design ecosystems of the industry's front rank.
Katherine Brooks
Chief Executive Officer
Former EVP of technology development at a leading IDM; 25 years scaling logic nodes from 90nm to 3nm.
Rachel Donovan
Chief Technology Officer
Led two generations of GAA device research; 140 patents in transistor architecture and interconnect.
Noah Gates
Chief Operating Officer
Built Dresden's automotive fab operations; global authority on copy-exactly manufacturing.
Marcus Chen
Chief Financial Officer
Two decades in semiconductor capital markets; steered the 2025 dual listing.
Emily Carter
EVP, Fab Operations
Runs the five-site network; previously ramped three leading-edge fabs to record yield.
David Whitaker
SVP, Advanced Packaging
Pioneer of hybrid bonding at production scale; leads SwarStack and SwarLink roadmaps.
Claire Bennett
Chief Sustainability Officer
Architected the net-zero 2040 roadmap and the industry's first net-water-positive fab design.
Ethan Caldwell
SVP, Design Enablement
Owns PDKs, reference flows, and the EDA alliance; formerly chief architect at a top-3 EDA firm.
James Whitfield
Chief People Officer
Scaled the team from 400 to 28,000 across six countries in five years.
Global presence
Six countries, one clock
Fabs, design centers, and customer engineering across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific — engineered to hand work around the sun.
